Factosys MCP

Factosys MCP is a product of Factosys Peru S.A.C. (Trujillo, Perú) — software a medida, sistemas, web y TI. Fork of WP MCP Ultimate (v2.1.0): a self-contained WordPress MCP server so any AI agent can manage posts, media, users, plugins, and more. No other plugins needed.

Compatibility: The canonical MCP REST route is mcp/factosys-mcp (e.g. /wp-json/mcp/factosys-mcp). The legacy route mcp/wp-mcp-ultimate still works as an alias.

Quick Start

Instalar desde ZIP

1. Usa el archivo dist/factosys-mcp.zip (o regenera: powershell -File scripts/build-zip.ps1).
2. En WordPress: Plugins → Añadir nuevo → Subir plugin.
3. Si ya falló una instalación anterior, borra primero la carpeta wp-content/plugins/factosys-mcp-2.1.0-factosys.0/ (FTP o administrador de archivos).
4. Activa Factosys MCP.
5. Ve a Herramientas → Factosys MCP, genera la clave y pega el snippet en Cursor / Claude / VS Code.

Desarrollo

Copia o clona el repo en wp-content/plugins/factosys-mcp/ y activa el plugin.

Authentication: Application Passwords work everywhere. For clients that require OAuth (e.g. Claude Web custom connectors), the plugin bundles an OAuth 2.1 authorization server with PKCE and dynamic client registration. See docs/SETUP.md and SECURITY.md.

Technical identifiers (meta-tool IDs, filter prefixes, PHP namespace WpMcpUltimate, constants WP_MCP_ULTIMATE_*, text domain, admin slug, AJAX actions) are intentionally unchanged from upstream for client and upgrade stability. The REST route is mcp/factosys-mcp (legacy mcp/wp-mcp-ultimate alias).
