What is Zi Wei Dou Shu?

Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗数), also called Purple Star Astrology, is a Chinese astrology system from the Song dynasty. From your birth year-month-day-hour it places 14 main stars across 12 palaces and uses four transformations (四化: Lu / Quan / Ke / Ji) to model a life trajectory — finer-grained than Bazi, so each domain (marriage, career, wealth) reads independently.

This MCP server exposes that engine as structured tools, so an LLM can cast and reason over a real, deterministic chart instead of hallucinating one.

ziwei_chart	Full natal chart: five-element class, 12 palaces (main/auxiliary/malefic stars + brightness + birth-year sihua + borrowed stars + decade limits + 12 longevity gods), pattern recognition (30+ classical 格局 with source citations), clip-palace scan, true four-pillars by solar term.
ziwei_transits	Six-dimension transits: decade (大限), annual (流年), monthly, daily, hourly, and 斗君.

⚠️ San He school Geng-stem: 化科 = Tian Tong, 化忌 = Tai Yin (the orthodox transmitted rule).

The server is live and stateless. Point any MCP client at the hosted endpoint via mcp-remote:

The assistant calls ziwei_chart and gets back a complete, reproducible natal chart — same input always yields the same chart (the engine is deterministic and reversible across all seven time dimensions).
