Zocialeye MCP Server

Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for the Zocialeye social media analytics API.

Features

This MCP server provides access to Zocialeye's campaign analytics capabilities through the following tools:

• get_campaign_categories: Get categories for a specific campaign
• get_campaign_keywords: Get keywords for a specific campaign
• get_campaign_wordcloud: Get word cloud data for a specific campaign
• get_campaign_messages: Get messages/posts for a specific campaign
• get_campaign_summary: Get summary statistics for a specific campaign
• get_campaign_influencers: Get top influencers for a specific campaign

Installation

1. Clone this repository:

git clone <repository-url>
cd zocialeye-mcp

2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Build the project:

npm run build

Configuration

Set the following environment variables:

export ZOCIALEYE_API_KEY="your-api-key-here"      # Required for authenticated requests
export ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID="your-campaign-id"   # Optional, default campaign ID

Usage

Running the Server

For development:

npm run dev

For production:

npm start

Integration with Claude Desktop

Add the following to your Claude Desktop configuration file:

Available Tools

get_campaign_categories

Get categories for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get categories for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

get_campaign_keywords

Get keywords for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get keywords for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

get_campaign_wordcloud

Get word cloud data for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get word cloud for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

get_campaign_messages

Get messages/posts for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get messages for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

get_campaign_summary

Get summary statistics for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get summary for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

get_campaign_influencers

Get top influencers for a specific campaign.

Parameters:

• campaign_id (optional): The campaign ID to get influencers for. If not provided, uses ZOCIALEYE_CAMPAIGN_ID environment variable.

Development

• npm run build: Compile TypeScript to JavaScript
• npm run dev: Run the server in development mode with auto-reload
• npm start: Run the compiled server
